The Blackfriar's Playhouse is the world's only re-creation of Shakespeare's original indoor theatre. The Blackfriar Theater opened its doors in September 2001 and has been met with enthusiastic audience members, from that very moment on, from around the world. The Blackfriars Playhouse is open year-round for Shakespeare productions. It is also available for meetings, conferences, weddings, workshops, and educational programs.
